Per CMS Guidance:

New Glarus Home, Glarner Lodge, and St Clare Friedensheim will be restricting non-medically necessary visitors from access to the building. This means that visitors including families will NOT be allowed to visit their loved ones unless it is end of life, and even in this case there may be limitations.

Q: Is New Glarus Home, Glarner Lodge, and St. Clare Friedensheim restricting visitors including family members at this time?

A: Yes, All of the above stated facilities are closed for visitors, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. At this time there are no group activities or group dining. We are establishing other ways that our residents can speak and visit with their families and how we can provide activities on a one on one basis.

Q: When will these restrictions be lifted?

A:Its is unknown at what point these restrictions be lifted, we will look for guidance from the federal and state government and the department of health services.

We will add more information to this page as we receive questions and feedback regarding this situation.
